Enchanting MBI Desaku Park @ Kulim
We were on a cycling tour of the Northern States of Peninsular Malasia; at a stop for drinks at on the outskirts of Kulim, the stall holder gave us an invaluable tip - "Go visit Karangan's enchanting park!". We had never heard of Karangan before this, Googled it and "Lo & Behold", we saw very beautiful photos of a park there called MBI Desaku! We just have to visit it and later at lunch we casually mentioned it to a local friend; he being very proud of his home-town, drove us over to Karangan to visit this park. Oddly this park, although very well done up is spread out in the various gardens of a residential development!
The best time to visit is during dusk when the colourfully lit displays are at their best against a dark blue background changes to black as night sets in. The park is sort of divided into several themed sections, which I show out below; click on each photo to go view the respective sections. Enjoy!
