Footsteps - Jotaro's Travels
Bali Hai 3 - 7th to 9th October 2011
DAY 3 - 9TH OCTOBER 2011
Rise & Shine!! This is our last day here and we will have to make the best of the day.
Breakfast was at Sunrise Restaurant again, but this time we mingled around with the rest of the guest to share our experiences.
After breakfast, we packed our luggage and checked out from the hotel. Leaving our luggage at the hotel, we took the motor-bike and rode out further away from Ubud town to shop around for nice pieces of artwork. There one can find more choices, and they are cheaper too!
Later, Made came along to pick us up to go sight-seeing before sending us to the Airport.
We went to Tanah Lot again, but this time it was to this shrine at a rocky outcrop slightly further away from the actual temple so that we can have different view of the place.
The view from this little outcrop was panaromic, and one can hear the breakers rushing onto the beach and cliffs.
From here we could see the temple, people dotting its base like ants. Unfortunately, it was the lowest of tides and people could just walk over. The scene would have been better at high tide, then the temple could be seen floating in the sea.
With that ends our short, sweet and restful trip to Bali.
Till we meet again.....
Selamat Tinggal!
