WANTAN MEE CURRY KON LOH @ HAPPY HAPPY CAFE
Kajang, Selangor, Malaysia - March 2013
One time when I was up in Kajang, I saw this signage on a restaurant called Happy Happy, and was drawn to it.
Why? Because it reminds me of my good friend Sin, whose blogsite is called hApPy HaPpY. So out of curiousness I went in.
There was no regrets that, as in this coffee-shop is a stall selling very good wantan mee, especially the one that I like best - Curry Kon Loh Chor Mee (Dried Style Flat Noodles).
The noodles used here is the broad flat wantan noodles. It's like a plate of the usual dry wantan mee except here some thick curry is poured over.
The curry added a creaminess to the thick black soy sauce making it even more hearty.
The best part is the char siew (barbecued pork belly). The little (little?) fat at the top helped bring our a better aroma to the tender pork.
I left really happy that I have been to Happy Happy.
UPDATE: THIS COFFEE SHOP HAS RELOCATED, IT'S ON THE SAME ROW BUT NEARER TO THE CONVENT.
(Once I have the new address, I will update it and the map, please be patient).
