Hang Tuah's Tomb
Tanjung Kling, Malacca, Malaysia - July 2015
Hang Tuah was a legendary warrior who lived during the 15th Centruy at the time of the Malacca Sultanate. He is to Malaysians what Robin Hood is to the English, a hero of legends. His tomb is located at Tanjong Kling, Malacca.

His tomb lies at a section next to a cemetery at Jalan Pekan Tanjung 1 off Jalan Tanjung Kling. The entrance to this section is an arch marked by two kerises that symbolises this warrior.

On entering, a white mausoleum can be seen. The tomb has been well restored and maintained, painted in white with red paver bricks around it. A white perimeter wall surrounds this section. This tomb has in a way become a memorial to the legend; along the perimeter wall are posters telling his story.

On the sides of this mausoleum are plaques that gives a short history of Hang Tuah.

Behind the main mausoleum, a long wall leads to a smaller mausoleum that shelters a simple white tombstone, that of the legendary warrior.

The wall posters list out the history of the man, among which is the Legend of the Puteri Gunung Ledang (Princess of Gunung Ledang).
